DOMAINBEAN INTELLIGENCE
What actually makes a domain valuable?
Domain value is not one magic number. It is the interaction between scarcity, commercial usefulness and the quality of the buyer who needs the name.
Extension strength
.com remains the broadest trust signal for many commercial buyers, while extensions such as .ai and .io can be especially strong inside specific technology categories.
Length and memorability
Shorter is often better, but not at any cost. A clear two-word name can be more commercially useful than an obscure four-letter combination.
Buyer pool
A domain becomes more interesting when multiple credible companies, products or industries can plausibly use it. End-user depth matters more than theoretical keyword volume alone.
